VIDEO: What a year it was on We Love Cycling!

By Honza Koran

Upcoming New Year’s Eve is usually the time to contemplate and think about the year that is about to end. And when we look back at 2015 we have to say it was wonderful time together!

We examined a fixed-gear bike scene in Berlin and Moscow, visited Seville to see how it became one of the Bike Friendly Cities, published a short documentary about influential women in cycling and together with them auctioned a bespoke Cinelli bike for charity.

We also sent three winners of our contest to the Adventure Camp on the Italian lake Lago di Garda to learn how to cycle better.

And as if it wasn’t enough we sent five of you on the fully covered trip to see the Tour de France including a helicopter flyover of the peloton.

Autumn was also quite busy – we spent a few days on the Eurobike cycle show to bring you reportages about e-bikes, newest trends and the show itself. Soon after that we left for the Italian Alps to be a part of an autumn edition of the Sellaronda Bike Day – an annual event where the beautiful scenic roads are only opened for cyclists.

Than millions of people around the world had fun watching our European Bike Stealing Championships 2015 video. But we didn’t have enough so we sent a little expedition with our ambassador Gaspi to bring back a backcountry video from the highest Ukrainian mountain Hoverla.

And now we’re here watching our Best of We Love Cycling 2015 video and thinking – what a year!

None of this would be possible without the support of our readers and fans. We would like to thank you for being with us and we hope that we’ll have even more fun together in 2016!
