What a show of dominance by van der Poel! At the end of the first lap, the Dutch superstar already led by 12 seconds. In the end, he beat Tom Pidcock by 1:08, leaving no room for questioning his form. The young Brit, Tom Pidcock, put out a stunning performance as well and claimed the second place beating Toon Aerts down to third. Wout van Aert finished fourth.
