Danish Company Turns Boring Bike Boxes into Beautiful Pieces of Art

By We Love Cycling

Tired of the nondescript boxes in which bikes and bike parts usually come in, the Copenhagen-based bicycle brand Larry vs. Harry decided to try a new and innovative approach. Being aware of the fact that their eco-minded customers like to re-use the boxes, they hired a specialist to create a fantasy world, which they then printed on the outsides.

“We often receive pictures from customers who have used their Bullitt boxes to build playhouses and dens for their children. If they are saving the boxes and getting inventive with them anyway, we thought it would be nice to do something unique and original with the boxes,” Larry vs. Harry’s owner Hans Fogh explained to BikeRadar.

Illustrator Kristian Eskild Jensen invented a dreamy world and incorporated scenes from old Danish fables, old musical heroes of the owners and even some characters from cult movies. The result is really cool and has definitely more uses than just turning it into a children’s playhouse.
