Coolest News from the World of Cycling

By Martin Mrazek

Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So, what did you miss?

The real-life roadrunner

Australian wildlife seems to have strong feelings about cycling! It isn’t that long ago that we showed you a video of a magpie viciously attacking a rider in New South Wales, and now an emu attacked cyclists in an area near Canberra.

“This big bird bully chased me on my bike near the Cotter today, and I wasn’t the only one. I’d like to see Wile E Coyote take on this brute. That’s not a roadrunner, this is a roadrunner!” wrote the author of the video, Chris Wilson, on his Facebook.

That special place

Every cyclist has one, right? It might be a crazy downhill section, mellow road following the banks of a river, or even a steep hill. It doesn’t really matter what it is, it will always make you smile. Jered Gruber seems to have found his special place in France.

Rémi Thirion gets loose and wild in Whistler

Another RAW 100 video is out, and we’re starting to fall in love with this series. The unique simplicity, no slow-motion shots and no music make for one hell of a recipe. This time Red Bull took Rémi Thirion to Whistler for his first-ever visit of the MTB heaven.

Top 10 pieces of cycling infrastructure

Everybody seems to understand the benefits of cycling these days, but which government really does something to improve the infrastructure for us?

For the hell of it

Sometimes, being alone is the best thing about cycling. What is it like to experience such a ride? This video seems to capture it perfectly.
