It reminds us a lot of the Colombia women’s team kit, which they showed at Giro Toscana. Remember? Even the Union Cycliste Internationale president Brian Cookson reacted to it.
“To the many who have raised the issue of a certain women’s team kit, we are on the case. It is unacceptable by any standard of decency,” he wrote on Twitter back in September 2014 and you can find some pretty interesting thoughts on the new Xirayas de San Luis’ kit there as well.
Marijn de Vries, Dutch journalist and a former racing cyclist, certainly didn’t hold back her emotions. Although to be fair, most of us were probably thinking exactly the same thing.
