Sagan wins his sixth national title

The combined Czech Republic and Slovakia Road Championships were held in Pilsen, Czech Republic over the weekend. And it was a big success for the Bora-Hansgrohe Team. Peter Sagan soloed to victory after an 80-kilometre breakaway. His brother Juraj, who was the defending champion, crossed the finish line two minutes after him, and Michael Kolář, another Bora-Hansgrohe pro, finished third in the Slovakian part of the race.

“Congratulations to Juraj for his second place overall in the combined Czech-Slovak classification and to Michael Kolář who closed the Slovak podium. Thanks to my team Bora-Hansgrohe for the support and to the thousands of fans from both countries that cheered us here in Pilsen,” Peter Sagan said after his sixth triumph.
