Chris Froome took home the third Critérium du Dauphiné title in four years, and for Team Sky it has been the fifth win in the space of six years. The beauty of this race was captured perfectly by our favourite photographer Jered Gruber. We wish the screen were bigger. What a shot!

What a character! Sir Bradley obviously won, with a decent time of 19:15 – 40 seconds away from his nearest rival, but that’s not really what this story is about. It’s more about how Wiggins amazed the local riders, taking a break from his training towards the Olympics, and totally made everyone’s day.
