By Martin Winter

Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So what do you need to know?

Believe In the Unbelievable

There aren’t a lot of people who can offer you more inspiration than athletes competing in the Paralympic Games. Just look at Tereza Diepoldová. She lost her right leg at the age of 11 and didn’t believe she could ever do any sport again. “That I will soon compete in swimming? And in a few years win medals in cycling? I didn`t believe that…” she confesses. And now? The only thing she doesn’t believe is that there is something she can’t achieve.

Self-Inflating PumpTire

We’ve got another interesting Kickstarter campaign for you this week with an idea that could revolutionize cycling. The new PumpTire promises you won’t ever need to check your tires before heading out of your home again. Its valve, which features a special control system, is designed to maintain a set pressure within the tube by only letting air in if the pressure drops below the desired level. Once the pressure reaches the optimum state it will automatically close again. Quite clever, right?

If you like this idea you can support the company’s Kickstarter campaign which will be launched early in 2016.

Freeriding Ukraine

Ukraine is a country that offers beautiful nature and breathtaking sceneries. We’ve paid it a visit and biked downhill its highest mountain Hoverla!

Bike for Dad (Special Dad)

Thailand’s crown prince Maha Vajiralongkorn led a 29 km bike ride around Bangkok on Friday in order to celebrate his father’s 88th birthday. The reports don’t say if King Bhumibol Adulyadej was pleased but the turnout of approximately 100 000 cyclists must have been amazing to watch.

How do you like the new Team Sky look? It’s the final kit Rapha will ever produce for the British cycling team and it definitely looks special.

Cyclist’s Coffee

Coffee is one of the few things you can use for performance enhancement without anyone making a fuss. So, (naturally) we use it but ordinary coffee contains between 10mg and 250 mg of caffeine and that’s why you can never be sure what kind of Hulk are you going to wake inside of you.

‘TrueStart was born from our personal experiences while training for an Ironman triathlon. Coffee became our go-to energy boost but we were both experiencing varying and unpredictable effects,’ says triathlete Helena Hills.

That’s where TrueStart come into play. They guarantee 95mg of caffeine per 2g serving plus it’s absolutely free of any additives, synthetics etc.
