Really cold urban riding
In his movie, Petr Kraus takes trail riding to Sisimiut in Greenland where he meet some local riders. During Petr’s trip to Greenland he visited the town of Sisimiut, for some urban trail riding and to get to know the local riders.
Enjoy the Northern ‘Summer’
Petr, who turns 39 in February, spent some time in Greenland, summer riding the wild country and getting to know the culture.
In this film he gets to grips with what he finds. To ride along the seafront and to take a look at what the local BMX talent has to offer.
Sisimiut is Greenland’s second largest town with a population of 5,500. Despite its small size it plays host to a vibrant street culture scene, captured on the photos and movie here.
Youngest triple world champion
Petr Kraus has won the trail biking world championship title an amazing three times. He was the youngest rider to do so, when he took the title in 1994 at the tender age of eighteen.
Over a decade on, Petr remains a pro trail rider, with a reputation for his precise and refined style. He travels all around the world with his exhibitions and still competes in a number of sport events and freestyle mountain races every year.
Throughout recent years, Petr Kraus rode the most amazing range of landscapes, creating breathtaking films and images and taking trail biking around the world. From the ancient landscapes of Cappadocia to volcanoes in Guatemala and now the stunning arctic landscape of Greenland.
