Becoming fascinated with bicycles from an early age, Mateusz originally became a cyclist, riding cross-country and road until 2014. Just a year later, a friend and an active MTB rider at that time invited him to try his hand at being his team’s mechanic – and that’s when things truly kicked off.
One position led to another, more invites followed, and in 2024, Mateusz dressed up in the crew colours of Alpecin-Deceuninck.
