Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne
Deceuninck–Quick-Step didn’t triumph in both races like they did last year. However, they were the best team again. On Saturday, they managed to have two riders in the winning group. Jasper Stuyven (Trek-Segafredo) got the better of Yves Lampaert in the end, but second place is a great result. On Sunday, Kasper Asgreen, got ahead with 30 km to go. And he held onto his advantage. A well-deserved victory for a possible star. A sign of things to come? Deceuninck–Quick-Step mean business again. And so does Stuyven. We look forward to the upcoming races.
I am speechless about today! Incredible way to win my first Classic! I’ve been chasing this one for a long time ! Thousand thanks to the team for the day @deceuninck_qst

In the women’s race, Annemiek van Vleuten made her move at the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad with 17 km to go. And nobody was able to follow. She pledged to be a contender in every race from the start of the season. And she meant it. Congratulations!
What a great way to start the new season. Winning my first race in the rainbow jersey, the @OmloopHNB! My story, in Dutch, on my website: https://t.co/VRswB2oVAO
