Tour Colombia for Colombians
It was a top three finish for the EF Pro Cycling team. Sergio Higuita, the new Colombian national road champion, earned the first place in the GC. Daniel Martínez won the last stage and finished second overall. Jonathan Caicedo took third place. Egan Bernal of Team Ineos finished third in the final stage, but ultimately had to settle for fourth place in the GC, the main reason being that Ineos lost to EF Pro Cycling in the opening Team Time Trial.
