Following the emotional speech and donning the yellow Jersey on the Champs-Elysees, the Brit went down to his fans. He shook a few hands and then unexpectedly reached back into his pocket to pull out a ring box, commenting that it had been weighing him down over the past three weeks. He handed it to the man standing in front of him, who didn’t hesitate to get down on one knee and propose.
