Nairo Quintana Wins Tour de La Provence and Other Cool News from the World of Cycling

Another Monday is here, and so is our news from the world of cycling. So, what did you miss?

The Colombian takes the Tour de La Provence

Nairo Quintana went to the attack on the final climb to the finish line of stage three taking the overall leader, Julian Alaphilippe (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl), with him. However, the Frenchman just could not hold on.

In the end, the 32-year-old Colombian finished half a minute ahead of the rest of the field, enough to take his first victory this season. Julian Alaphilippe ended up finishing sixth on the stage, 47 seconds down on Quintana.
