Tour de France Stage 8 Results: Calmejane Takes the Win

Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie) won his first Tour de France stage today! The 24-year-old Frenchman bested everyone and will don the polka dot jersey tomorrow. What a gift for Jean-René Bernaudeau, the manager of Calmejane’s team Direct Energie, who celebrates his 61st birthday today. Robert Gesink finished second and Guillaume Martin third.
