In 1901 an amazing book called Fancy Cycling was published by Isabel Marks and it wasn‘t like anything you‘re used to seeing from that era. The original publication shows a number of daring cycling tricks that would be still considered pretty hard to perform even today. Plus, all the stuntmen and stuntwomen are wearing Victorian era clothes, so typical for that day and age. Isabel Marks might have been the first to promote this kind of risky cycling and we‘re glad she was there to do it. Just look at the pictures below. Those tricks are well worth capturing.
