Today, we’re going to show you the first episode of our Bike Minutes series. The videos, created in cooperation with the former pro-rider Michal Moureček and his bike company Festka, will teach the newbies (and remind the seasoned riders) of the proper cycling etiquette in various places and situations. This time it’s all about the bike shops!
Let us take you to a place where bikes are made, serviced, repaired and most of all, loved. If you are new to this you might appreciate a few tips on how to make your first visit an easy ride.
Bike shop is like a church, so don’t go behind the counter, come clean – your bike included, be kind and hold onto the traditional ways – try to shop in brick-and-mortar shops. If you are serious about cycling, you gotta keep the faith.
Just like the Pearsons did. Even though times got tough sometimes they pulled through, and today, they are the proud owners of the oldest bike shop in the world. We visited them a while back, so you can read all about their fascinating work – HERE.
