The legendary Liège–Bastogne–Liège, also known as La Doyenne, “The Old Lady”, is coming up on April 21, 2024. As one of the most arduous one-day races in the world and the oldest of the five Monuments with a succession of killer climbs, it’s extremely taxing for the riders – but a delight to watch for fans. If you ever wanted to be one of the lucky spectators lining the route, now is your chance. Not only that, you could be treated to a three-day VIP trip with all expenses covered. Read on!

In partnership with Alpecin–Deceuninck, we are launching a contest for die-hard road cycling fans. Without further ado, here are the rules:
- Post a photo or a video to your Instagram (or edit an older one already posted) showing your love for cycling and what cycling fandom means to you. It could be you as an active rider or an excited fan. Wear your fav team colours while on the bike (bonus points for Alpecin–Deceuninck!), show us your fan art, celebrate the rider you admire the most – you name it. Show your enthusiasm and creativity both in the pic and the caption.
- To your photo or video, add the hashtag #LiegeDream and tag the We Love Cycling magazine. This will automatically enter you in the contest.
- Do the above between 18–31 March 2024.

By meeting all the contest rules, you will secure yourself the chance to win the main prize. What is it? A VIP three-day experience (19–21 March 2024) for the winner and one guest at the Liège–Bastogne–Liège race with the Alpecin–Deceuninck pro team. This means two days before the race to see the real heat of pro-team preparations plus the day of the race itself. The experience bundle includes a ride and greet with two team riders, a look at the team bus and bike setups, prime viewing locations during the race – and all travel and accommodation expenses covered. Imagine getting a glimpse of how Mathieu van der Poel’s bike gets built and prepped!
As a winner, you and your guest will also get closely acquainted with Alpecin–Deceuninck’s brand new fleet of team cars, Škodas, specifically, as the team just forged a partnership deal with the automaker this year. You will be treated to two VIP spots in the team support cars during the race.
