But there are certain stages you definitely shouldn\u2019t miss. We\u2019ve put together a list of the best ones to follow so you can get the most out of the Tour.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t forget you can watch a live stream of the race on your phone or tablet with the official <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/blog\/48522\/the-2015-tour-de-france-official-app\/\">2015 Tour de France app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 10<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Tuesday July 14<\/li>\n<li>From Tarbes to La Pierre-Saint-Martin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: The peloton will face the first mountain stage of the 2015 Tour, where the top contenders will try to get in an early strike so they can bring order to the rest of the race. This is also the first day in Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-55490 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/PROFIL10-600x323.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"323\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Photo: letour.fr<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 11<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Wednesday July 15<\/li>\n<li>From Pau to Cauterets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: This one is a must-watch for the scenery as much as for the racing. The man to follow could be Vincenzo Nibali if he tries to catch the others out descending the Tourmalet. This is the most dramatic part of the Pyrenees.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/Col-du-Tourmalet.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-55491\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/Col-du-Tourmalet-600x398.jpg\" alt=\"Tour de France 2006 - Col du Tourmalet\" width=\"600\" height=\"398\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 12<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday July 16<\/li>\n<li>From Lannemezan to Plateau de Beille<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: This is a hard stage that the favourites can use to gain time on each other.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-55492\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/PROFIL-12-600x323.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"323\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Photo: letour.fr<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 17<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Wednesday July 22<\/li>\n<li>From Digne-les-Bains to Pra Loup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: Another day of beautiful scenery, with the road up to and down from the Col d\u2019Allos surrounded by some of the highest mountains in France. This is also another stage where Nibali could get ahead of the others with a daring descent off the Allos.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-55493\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/Col-d\u2019Allos-600x399.jpg\" alt=\"Col d\u2019Allos\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 18<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday July 23<\/li>\n<li>From Gap to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: Worth it just for seeing the riders fight the switchbacks up to Lacets de Montvernier. This incredible climb is close to the stage finish, meaning the ascent and subsequent descent could decide the stage winner. Another day for the climbers who descend well to take the fight to those who can\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-55495\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/07\/switchbacks-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Montvernier\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 19<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday July 24<\/li>\n<li>From Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to La Tossuire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Why: Another big climbing day with a mountain finish. This could be the showdown between the contenders trying to win the 2015 Tour de France.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stage 20<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Saturday July 25<\/li>\n<li>Modane &#8211; Alpe d\u2019Huez<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The overall winner may already be decided at this point, but the riders in this stage climb two icons of the race: the Col du Galibier and Alpe d\u2019Huez.
