With a big advance, he\u2019d left the rest of the competitors behind.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/02\/91.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26040\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/02\/91-620x413.jpg\" alt=\"9\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>True son of his father<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mathieu has won the world champion title in the junior category\u00a0twice in the past. Despite the fact\u00a0he&#8217;s a newcomer in the elite category, it didn&#8217;t stop him win the title on\u00a0the track in Tabor &#8211; a small city in Czech Republic. It&#8217;s good to know\u00a0that Mathieu&#8217;s got racing in his genes because his father Adri became the\u00a0world cyclocross champion, 19 years ago. \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<h2><strong>Crazy costumes and dirty shoes<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Exactly at 2PM riders of the most anticipated category started the race.\u00a0Mathieu took the lead in the first seconds, chased by other riders\u00a0from the Netherlands and Belgium. Lots of them enjoyed\u00a0not only their favourite sport, but also the Czech draft beer! It seemed that\u00a0almost nobody cared about their dirty shoes or the brisk subzero temperatures. The real fans of the sport are used to the uncomfortable conditions\u00a0as the main cyclocross season runs from October till February.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/02\/31.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-26034\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2015\/02\/31-620x413.jpg\" alt=\"3\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The muddy track was far from easy and many riders crashed during the race.\u00a0The event was sponsored\u00a0by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skoda-auto.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\">\u0160koda<\/a> who also support other major cycling events, such as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/2963\/tour-spectacular-proof-pics-2\/\">Tour de France<\/a>.
