This suggests that polyphenols and other bioactive compounds in coffee, not just caffeine, may enhance cognitive function. Additionally, decaf drinkers reported improved sleep quality and higher positive affect, indicating potential benefits for recovery and mood stability without the stimulant effects of caffeine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Caffeinated coffee<\/strong>: Only the caffeine group experienced reduced anxiety, better attention and alertness, and a lower risk of inflammation. Caffeinated coffee also led to a decrease in systolic blood pressure compared to decaf, suggesting cardiovascular benefits.
