Today, I&#8217;m here as the winner. I think I&#8217;m the same person as I was a year ago, but with much more experience. I&#8217;ve learned how to move better within the peloton, stay calm when it matters, and make better decisions during the race. This year, I arrived with much more confidence in myself and with a very strong team around me,\u201d Blasi said after securing the title.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The Tourmalet won the race<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The final stage from Nay to Juran\u00e7on was lively, but the overall classification had effectively been decided a day earlier.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On stage 2, Blasi attacked on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/wide\/ride-tested\/col-du-tourmalet-lourdes-vorland-tourmalet-lourdes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Col du Tourmalet<\/a> and rode away from the field, winning solo and taking a commanding lead of nearly two minutes over teammate Dominika W\u0142odarczyk. At one point, her race looked over after a crash disrupted the decisive move.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead, she got back on her bike and carried on attacking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the closing kilometres, Jansen broke clear alongside L\u00e9a Curinier. The pair held off the peloton and sprinted for victory in Juran\u00e7on, where Jansen proved strongest despite her earlier crash.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Behind them, the peloton arrived 49 seconds later, leaving the overall standings unchanged.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Focus on the bigger objective<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UAE Team ADQ briefly considered chasing the stage victory, but once the breakaway gained enough time, priorities changed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cToday we worked perfectly once again. We wanted to try to win the stage with Dominika, but when the breakaway went clear, we stayed focused on our main objective: controlling the race and securing the overall victory. We achieved that, and we&#8217;re very happy and satisfied with the result.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That approach delivered a perfect outcome for the team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Not only did Blasi win the race overall, but UAE Team ADQ also completed a one-two in the general classification with W\u0142odarczyk finishing
