<\/p>\n

There is no right answer<\/strong>.
\nIt\u2019s too cold for short sleeves.
\nIt\u2019s too hot for tights.
\nYou wore a vest and now it\u2019s soup time<\/em> in your ribcage.<\/p>\n

This is the month where fashion dies, chamois dreams rot, and everyone on the road looks like a crisis in cleats.<\/p>\n

Every decision is the wrong one<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Start with the forecast. It says 11\u00b0C. Great.
\nExcept that means nothing. Is it 11 and sunny<\/em> or 11 and damp with a side of emotional collapse<\/em>?<\/p>\n

You stand in your hallway like you\u2019re choosing battle armour.
\nLong sleeve? Too warm.
\nBase layer?<\/a> Maybe just mesh?
\nGloves? Which gloves? There are five types and none of them feel right.<\/p>\n

You put something on. You immediately regret it.
\nYou change. You regret that, too.
\nYou leave the house with three layers you will later remove and stuff into a pocket the size of a granola bar.<\/p>\n

What you see out there<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On the road, it\u2019s pure chaos:<\/p>\n

\u2013 A man in thermal bibs and a short-sleeve jersey, looking like a misplaced emoji
\n\u2013 Someone wearing a full waterproof cape and<\/em> sunglasses
\n\u2013 A woman in gilet, arm warmers, knee warmers, and<\/em> leg warmers, defying biology
\n\u2013 A rider in shorts and bare arms, steam rising from their body like roadkill tea
\n\u2013 Someone in full ski gear doing 150 watts and refusing to make eye contact<\/p>\n

You\u2019re not judging. You\u2019re just glad it\u2019s not you.

The gilet is a lie<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The cycling gilet was invented to provide core warmth and wind protection.
\nIn November, it becomes a psychological burden. You keep it on too long. Then not long enough. Then back on. Then unzip it halfway like a confused marsupial.<\/p>\n

It flaps in the wind. It makes you sweat. It\u2019s the emotional support garment of the indecisive.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need<\/em> it. But you don\u2019t not<\/em> need it.
\nIt stays on out of fear, habit, and mild shame.<\/p>\n

Pockets are now your main form of storage and identity<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You\u2019re carrying:
\n\u2013 Full-finger gloves
\n\u2013 Short-finger gloves
\n\u2013 Arm warmers
\n\u2013 Leg warmers
\n\u2013 Gilet
\n\u2013 Buff
\n\u2013 Possibly a small dog<\/p>\n

Every stop is now a frantic game of textile origami.
\nYou have become a mobile soft-shell closet with snacks.<\/p>\n

Your jersey no longer fits. Your back is shaped like a baguette.
\nYou\u2019ve dropped one glove but can\u2019t go back. That glove is dead to you<\/em> now.<\/p>\n

Just commit to looking ridiculous<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There is no perfect outfit. Only survival.
\nThe best-dressed cyclist in November is the one who makes it home not crying and not chafing.<\/p>\n

Forget the rules. Wear the thermal hat. Double-sock it. Put on that weird windproof thing that makes you look like an off-duty superhero.<\/p>\n

No one looks good.
\nNo one feels good.
\nThe weather is testing your spirit and your seams.<\/p>\n
