Because while your cyclist partner claims they\u2019re watching for \u201crace strategy,\u201d what they\u2019re really<\/em> learning is how to justify spending half a paycheck on marginal gains.<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Aero is everything<\/strong><\/h2>\n

After watching a week of Tour coverage, they\u2019re convinced their club ride would be infinitely faster if only they had:<\/p>\n

    3. Recovery is everything<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Watching Evenepoel foam rolling mid-interview inspires them to spend \u00a370 on the latest vibrating massage gun. They use it once before bed, declare their legs \u201cpro-level fresh,\u201d and then limp to the bathroom the next morning.<\/p>\n
