This further solidifies \u0160koda\u2019s partnership with the Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) as the extensive and exciting 5-year deal also comprises the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, La Vuelta a Espa\u00f1a, La Fl\u00e8che Wallonne and Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge, as well as other international cycling events, five of them standalone women\u2019s races.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This enduring partnership between \u0160koda Auto and A.S.O. started two decades ago, in 2004, but the history of the sport and the automaker has been intertwined for much longer. \u201cWe started as a bicycle company almost 130 years ago, and cycling today is a passion for many of the everyday explorers who are our customers,\u201d notes Klaus Zellmer, CEO of \u0160koda Auto. \u201cSupporting the cycling mission of the world\u2019s preeminent race organiser A.S.O. is an honour and privilege for us at \u0160koda Auto.\u201d Notably, the automaker has also been sponsoring the Tour de France green jersey, the coveted prize for sprinters, since 2015, which is now unmistakably tied to it in the eyes of all road racing fans.<\/p>\n<lite-youtube videoid=M6y4J8hAAZY params=\"enablejsapi=1\" style=\"background-image: url('https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi_webp\/M6y4J8hAAZY\/maxresdefault.webp');\"><\/lite-youtube>\n<p>Furthermore, there\u2019s one major point to be highlighted: the partnership heralds a greener era for cycling races, with \u0160koda Auto pledging up to 250 all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to the A.S.O. event organizers, from the iconic Enyaqs to the classic Superbs.
