He reached out to Rohan Dennis who, for the time being, is an Australian professional road racing cyclist. He is known for his time-trial abilities resulting in numerous victories and podium finishes throughout his career. However, he has announced his retirement from the sport at the end of 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Dennis started his professional career in 2013 with the Australian UCI World Tour team, Garmin-Sharp. In his debut year, he won the Tour of Alberta and finished second in the Australian National Time Trial Championships. He then moved to the BMC Racing Team in 2015, where he continued to achieve success in time trials and stage races. In 2018, Dennis won his first Grand Tour stage in the Giro d&#8217;Italia \u2013 and by a large margin. He also won the Australian National Time Trial Championships for the fourth time in a row that year. In 2019, he won the time trial at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/wide\/2022\/06\/20\/geraint-thomas-wins-tour-de-suisse-dont-think-many-were-expecting-that\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tour de Suisse<\/a> and later went on to win his second individual time trial World Championship.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"Spotify Embed: Australian Road Pro Rohan Dennis: \u2018Tokyo made me think that winning isn\u2019t everything\u2019\" style=\"border-radius: 12px\" width=\"100%\" height=\"152\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" loading=\"lazy\" data-src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/episode\/6fAIbztfaOps1EV88Zog50?si=BKTuM6QPRVGTxbyst2730w&#038;utm_source=oembed\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">In 2020, Dennis joined Team INEOS (now INEOS Grenadiers) and won the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadnationals.org.au\/time-trial\/\">Australian National Time Trial Championships<\/a> for the sixth time in a row. He also won the time-trial stage in the Crit\u00e9rium du Dauphin\u00e9 and helped his team win the Giro d&#8217;Italia team time trial. In 2021, Dennis won the opening time trial of the Tour de Romandie and helped his team win the team time trial. He also won the individual time trial at the Australian National Road Championships for the seventh time in a row.
