With daffodils in bloom and the sun getting warmer, spring is definitely in the air. But there\u2019s one other indicator that the seasons are changing and that\u2019s that the spring Classics are in full swing! These all-or-nought style races are nothing short of entertaining.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A set of major one-day races taking place across Northern Europe, the spring Classics are an iconic and historic point in the professional season of the cycling calendar. Unlike the long-form racing of the Grand Tours,<\/a> the spring Classics are punchy and dramatic, with events unfolding over a matter of mere hours. With a large chunk of these races taking place around spring (hence the name, and with a couple of exceptions), they\u2019re setting the tone for the season ahead.<\/p>\n
