Another Monday is here, and so is our news from the world of cycling. So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bernal is back<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Ineos Grenadiers rider posted photos of himself on Instagram riding a bike just over two months after the horrific training crash. Bernal previously stated that the accident left him with a “95 per cent chance” of becoming paralysed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe happiest day of my life,\u201d wrote Bernal on Instagram. \u201cAfter 2 months and 20 broken bones, here I am, and I want more!\u201d<\/p>\n

The serious crash<\/a> required him to undergo seven surgeries to treat the broken bones and two collapsed lungs. It happened on January 24 when Bernal rode into a bus at close to 65kph while on his time-trial bike.<\/p>\n

The Colombian previously posted photos of himself walking unaided, on a stationary bike trainer, and then later on an upright one.<\/p>\n

It looks like he\u2019s on the right path to full recovery. We wish you all the best, Egan!<\/p>\n
