This year\u2019s Italian Grand Tour is taking place from May 8\u201430. It will return six months after the last edition, which was pushed back in the calendar due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The riders will start in Turin and end in Milano.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The reigning champ, Tao Geoghegan Hart, won\u2019t be there to defend his title. He is focusing on a debut at the Tour de France instead. Egan Bernal will be leading the Ineos Grenadiers squad. Simon Yates (Team BikeExchange) will return once again to try to claim the pink jersey. Vincenzo Nibali is likely to lead Trek-Segafredo and Romain Bardet will ride in his first Grand Tour for DSM. Mikel Landa will be there to win for Bahrain-Victorious and Movistar is placing its hopes in Marc Soler. And we shouldn\u2019t omit Jo\u00e3o Almeida (Deceuninck \u2013 Quick-Step), who will be hoping to hold on to the pink jersey all the way to the end this time.<\/p>\n
