So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Schachmann defended the title<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Primo\u017e Rogli\u010d was the king of the show during the 2021 Paris-Nice. However, on the very last day, he fell twice, losing the yellow on the crash-filled final stage. The Slovenian managed to get back to the peloton after the first fall but was then caught on the wrong end of a split in a bunch. The second crash cost him dearly and Schachmann deleted the 52-second gap to claim the title. In the end, Rogli\u010d lost three minutes and dropped out of the top 10.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We defended the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ParisNice?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@parisnice<\/a> title. I\u2019d rather have won in a different way but our sport often writes dramatic &amp; unexpected stories.
