So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Breaking the contract?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The 24-year-old Russian has one year left on his contract with Astana. However, Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports that Vlasov\u2019s agent, Giuseppe Acquadro, is trying to terminate it in order for him to join the Ineos Grenadiers. Will it happen, though? With Astana\u2019s financial difficulties, they were already forced to let their star rider Miguel \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez leave at the end of the year. This would be another blow for Alexandre Vinokourov\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_180444\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-180444\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2020\/11\/Vlasov-Astana-profimedia-0557430485.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-180444\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2020\/11\/Vlasov-Astana-profimedia-0557430485-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"Aleksandr Vlasov\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-180444\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">It seems like Vlasov (C) will be leaving Astana for Ineos Grenadiers.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Vlasov enjoyed an impressive 2020 campaign, taking victories at the Mont Ventoux D\u00e9nivel\u00e9 Challenge as well as at the Giro dell\u2019Emilia. He also finished 3rd at Il Lombardia and 11th overall at La Vuelta. Ineos Grenadiers already announced that Adam Yates, Richie Porte and Dani Mart\u00ednez will join their ranks next year. Looks like Sir Dave Brailsford wasn\u2019t all too happy with the team\u2019s performance this year.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Holiday time<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">nothing on the list today.
