With how 2020 has unfolded so far, a lot of us have already made acquaintance with an indoor trainer, either for the first time or dusted their trusted cold-season helper. If you did too, you couldn\u2019t have missed one name in the game \u2013 ROUVY. How does ROUVY work, you might ask? So, what do you need to join in on the La Vuelta fun? First, a smart device, which can be a laptop, a smartphone, a smart TV \u2013 anything with a display and internet connection that will allow you to play and watch the route video. Download the ROUVY app and create an account here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Then, you need a specialized indoor bike trainer that attaches to your actual bicycle. The platform works perfectly with any bicycle trainer available, including a smart-bike, direct-drive or wheel-on trainer. Upon connecting your trainer to the app, the device will realistically simulate all road conditions you\u2019re about to encounter in the video. With most of the La Vuelta stages being climber-focused, this should be interesting.<\/p>\n

Be ready on your bike with the trainer, set, connected, stretched and warmed up at the starting line at least 30 minutes before the launch. That\u2019s the basics! What\u2019s in store for the next few days, then? You can look forward to eight carefully selected parts of eight iconic La Vuelta stages, which will be raced on the same day the pros will ride them in real life, and you will compete with all other ROUVY participants! One of the greatest parts of ROUVY is that in the race mode you\u2019ll be able to see the virtual avatar of anyone currently racing the same route as you in real time, which might just amp your competitive appetite.<\/p>\n
