So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge 2020<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>What an end to this year\u2019s edition of Li\u00e8ge-Bastogne-Li\u00e8ge it was. Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck \u2013 Quick-Step) attacked near the summit of the C\u00f4te de la Roche-aux-Faucons. He took Marc Hirschi (Sunweb), Primo\u017e Rogli\u010d (Jumbo-Visma) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.welovecycling.com\/wide\/2020\/09\/20\/tadej-pogacar-wins-the-2020-tour-de-france\/\">Tadej Poga\u010dar<\/a> (UAE Team Emirates) with him. Alaphilippe went past him and then made a defensive move to keep Hirschi and Poga\u010dar at arm\u2019s length. With those behind him, Alaphilippe thought it was done and started to celebrate. However, Primo\u017e Rogli\u010d kept pedalling and threw his bike to the line to win it. It is the Slovenian\u2019s first-ever Monument victory. Micha\u0142 Kwiatkowski (Ineos Grenadiers)<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Meanwhile at the Giro<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>It came as no surprise that the time-trial world champion was the best in the opening ITT stage of this year\u2019s Giro d\u2019Italia. However, it must have been very sweet for Filippo Ganna to claim the victory on the very first day he spent at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giroditalia.it\/en\/\">Italian Grand Tour<\/a>. Diego Ulissi outsprinted Peter Sagan in the second stage to claim the victory but Filippo Ganna managed to keep the pink jersey. How long will he last?
