They didn\u2019t want to complicate things for their superstar, Peter Sagan. And so the Irishman looked for another team and signed for Deceuninck-Quick-Step for 2020. The Tour de France was his main goal and now he won stage 10. And in the process, he reclaimed the \u0160koda Green Jersey from the hands of none other than Peter Sagan.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_179355\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-179355\" style=\"width: 1250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-179355\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2020\/09\/profimedia-0556845281.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1250\" height=\"833\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-179355\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sam Bennett celebrates as he crosses the finish line at the end of the 10th stage of the 2020 Tour. \u00a9 Profimedia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cYou wait so many years for this to happen and then to get this opportunity. It took a while for it to really sink in. It\u2019s just a relief when so many great sprinters have passed through this team and delivered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI needed this, to come to the Tour de France and deliver for this team after Deceuninck and Patrick gave me this amazing opportunity I really wanted to deliver for them, and my teammates who were perfect today. I want to thank everybody, the mechanics, the soigneurs\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The emotional win brought him a lot of points and Sam Bennett will now don the Green again.
