So, what did you miss?<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Yates leaves Mitchelton-Scott<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The 28-year-old will join the Ineos Grenadiers in January 2021. Adam Yates won the UAE Tour at the start of this year\u2019s season, and his fourth place at the 2016 Tour de France indicates he should become one of the team\u2019s Grand Tour contenders.<\/p>\n<p>Team Principal Sir Dave Brailsford said: \u201cI\u2019m really delighted that Adam is finally joining the team. It feels like the timing is just right as he enters the prime of his career and we embark on a new era as the INEOS Grenadiers.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The INEOS Grenadiers are excited to announce the signing of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamYates7?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AdamYates7<\/a> on a two-year deal.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome Adam!<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; INEOS Grenadiers (@INEOSGrenadiers) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/INEOSGrenadiers\/status\/1296832013589254145?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 21, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async data-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>\u201cAs a global team with a British heart, Adam\u2019s no-nonsense British character is a perfect fit.
