I was sitting in Milk Bar with my friend Tim, watching a young man cycle around the block in a continuous unbroken wheelie. At least, the section of his laps we could see \u2013 he didn\u2019t put a foot down on our side of the block.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tim sipped his Shed Espresso and I chomped my avocado-on-rye before Tim proclaimed, \u201conly chavs can do wheelies\u201d. Tim can do wheelies, and I cannot.<\/p>\n<\/lite-youtube>\n

Look past the obvious insanity of their ride and you\u2019ll notice that, despite the street language, Harry rides a Collective C100 Pro. The price tag doesn\u2019t exactly scream \u201cstreet\u201d. So is there money to be earned from popping wheelies?<\/p>\n<\/lite-youtube>\n

Yes, as evidenced by Danny Macaskill<\/a>\u2019s nose wheelie for Magura. Note that Danny\u2019s sponsors value him enough to insist he wear a helmet. And Danny\u2019s paid enough that he listens.<\/p>\n
