So, what did you miss?<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Chris Froome says he\u2019s staying<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>According to Dylan Van Baarle, Chris Froome is staying at Ineos and will ride the Tour with the British outfit. Speaking to Dutch newspaper AD, Van Baarle revealed that his teammate didn\u2019t want to terminate the contract prematurely. However, he didn\u2019t say anything about his plans for the 2021 season.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_178383\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-178383\" style=\"width: 1250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-178383\" src=\"https:\/\/d2p6e6u75xmxt8.cloudfront.net\/2\/2020\/06\/profimedia-0459890617.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1250\" height=\"831\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-178383\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Egan Bernal, Geraint Thomas Dylan van Baarle ride in the last kilometers of the fourteenth stage of the 2019 Tour de France. \u00a9 Profimedia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&#8220;Of course we&#8217;ve talked about it, because it&#8217;s in the news all the time. But, as far as I know, he&#8217;s staying and wants to ride the Tour with Ineos,&#8221; Van Baarle said. &#8220;In the end, I don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on behind the scenes with him either, but that&#8217;s what he says to us, so I assume he&#8217;ll be there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Chris Froome joined Team Sky, now Team Ineos, back in 2010, when it was launched. He\u2019s won seven Grand Tours in its jersey. However, he suffered a serious injury last year and his teammate Egan Bernal went on to win the 2019 Tour. Earlier this month, Cyclingnews revealed the possibility of Froome\u2019s mid-season team change, which would help him avoid the leadership battle with Egan Bernal and Geraint Thomas.<\/p>\n<p>Will he be able to come out the strongest?
