Team Ineos and Jumbo-Visma are expected to go head to head for the victory but there are many other contenders in the play as well. So, what does the reigning champion think? Egan Bernal shared his views with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eltiempo.com\/deportes\/ciclismo\/egan-bernal-habla-en-entrevista-del-tour-de-francia-2020-y-del-tour-colombia-2020-460266\">El Tiempo<\/a> in Colombia.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnything can happen but, in my eyes, Rogli\u010d will be the strongest. He gets a lot of respect from everyone in the peloton. He was the leader in last year\u2019s UCI rankings, won the Vuelta, stood on the podium in the Giro, is good in time trials, can climb well and is very consistent.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The opening stage is complete at <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/TourColombia2020?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#TourColombia2020<\/a>. Team Ineos should have Chris Froome, the returning champ, as well as Geraint Thomas and other great riders. However, Jumbo-Visma added Tom Dumoulin to their squad and with Steven Kruiswijk, they will be very strong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDumoulin, in particular, will be an important rider,\u201d Bernal believes. \u201cHe is someone who can climb better in shape than a pure climber. We don\u2019t know how he is after the injury, but I think he will be in shape.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We cannot wait for the Grand Dep\u00e1rt.
