Through his blog he had already <a href=\"https:\/\/phil.bike\/trees\/\">fundraised for 70,000 trees<\/a> last summer. Sadly, being injured, there was little he could do to continue the effort. However, <a href=\"https:\/\/phil.bike\/charity-bike-delivery-paris\/\">the clever ad<\/a> he put out ensured that the reforestation would go on.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bike up for auction: whoever bids the most trees for <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DEYRtNNz4s\">https:\/\/t.co\/DEYRtNNz4s<\/a> (~10p each). If somebody gave me \u00a3300 I would have immediately bought 3,000 trees. A ride from the UK to Paris.
