The 34-year-old suffered horrific injuries at last year\u2019s Criterium du Dauphin\u00e9. However, Froome was quick to respond on Twitter and say his recovery was on schedule. And now, the principal of Team Ineos weighed in.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hope that I can set this straight, I was last at a training camp at the beginning of December.  My recovery is going well and I will be heading to my next training camp on Thursday. He is putting all the courage and determination into training that led him to win seven Grand Tours to be ready in time for the start of the 2020 Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo one should underestimate Froome,\u201d Brailsford added. \u201cHe and Ineos will really do everything they can to get him to his best by the start in Nice on Saturday, 27 June.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
