Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The champion\u2019s setback<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Italian magazine Bicisport says Chris Froome left Ineos\u2019 training camp after just two days. His recovery is being described as “slow”.<\/p>\n

Dario David Cioni, a sports director for Ineos, said<\/a>: \u201cAfter two days of training in Spain, Froome, who aspires to the fifth yellow jersey, returns home. He is not well and who knows if he will recover.\u201d<\/p>\n

Froome\u2019s recovery after the horror crash at last year\u2019s Crit\u00e9rium du Dauphin\u00e9 was thought to be going well. He took part in the Saitama Criterium in Japan and seemed fine. However, lately there\u2019<\/span>s been talk of Egan Bernal skipping the Giro to focus solely on the Tour. Will the young Colombian defend his title? Or will the four-time champ make his return? What do you think?<\/p>\n

UPDATE: Chris Froome suggests the camp he left early took place in early December.<\/p>\n

Hope that I can set this straight, I was last at a training camp at the beginning of December. My recovery is going well and I will be heading to my next training camp on Thursday. Onward \ud83d\udc4a<\/p>\n
