Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Dutchman beats Eli Iserbyt<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mathieu van der Poel held off every single attack by his rivals until there was no one in the front but Eli Iserbyt and himself. The 24-year-old Dutchman then launched an attack of his own in the final lap of the race and beat the younger Belgian.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a difficult course to make a difference,\u201d Van der Poel admitted. \u201eI have some very big goals in 2020 and now I\u2019m a little bit focused and excited for the races on the road and then the Olympics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Van der Poel now holds the European title as well as the World and the Dutch national title. The sky seems to be the limit for this young man.<\/p>\n
