Another Monday is here and our news from the world of cycling with it! So, what did you miss?<\/strong><\/p>\n

An exciting Giro awaits us<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The GC contenders should properly plan their power output as the last week will feature three stages with over 5,000 m of climbing. The route also consists of three individual time trials, with the last one happening on the final day in Milan. Together with the appearance of Peter Sagan, this should make for a fantastic Grand Tour.<\/p>\n<\/lite-youtube>\n

\u201cIn the last ten years I have had the opportunity and privilege to compete, many times, in some of the most prestigious races held in Italy, but I always felt that something was missing \u2013 the Giro d\u2019Italia,\u201d Sagan announced. \u201cI don\u2019t think there is any rider that doesn\u2019t dream of taking part in the corsa rosa, one of the most beautiful and challenging races in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the Giro\u2019s start happening in Budapest, not far from the Slovakian border (or far for Sagan\u2019s fans), the first stage is guaranteed to offer the Slovak champ a hometown atmosphere. Will he win one of the first few stages? We can\u2019t wait to find out.<\/p>\n
