So, what did you miss?<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Back to the roots<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Team Sky went with its classic black jersey look for the 2019 season. The new kit incorporates a dark blue over the shoulders, which is to promote Sky Ocean Rescue. So, it is not all black as most of the previous jerseys. However, it is still a big step towards the classics in comparison with last year\u2019s all-white kit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We\u2019re excited to reveal the new Team Sky 2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CastelliCycling?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@CastelliCycling<\/a> kit and a return to black for the team\u2019s tenth year in the peloton \u26ab\ud83d\udd35 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jCWDsHqgVU\">pic.twitter.com\/jCWDsHqgVU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; INEOS Grenadiers (@INEOSGrenadiers) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/INEOSGrenadiers\/status\/1068467283062861826?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 30, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async data-src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe kit is a nice celebration of our tenth year in the peloton \u2013 I can see lots of our old designs in the new look for 2019,\u201d Tour de France champion Geraint Thomas said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCastelli share our attitude and outlook in their approach to research and development and we have been continually impressed by their pioneering work from the moment our relationship started.
