So, what did you miss?<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Start-up Hexo offers a new kind of helmet<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Finding a helmet that really fits can be a struggle. Manufacturers usually go with a universal shape, which just can\u2019t suit everyone. However, a new British start-up Hexo found a way around that. They use a scanning app to make a 3D scan of your head. That way you can order a helmet to fit you perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Bpy3r8IAEZX\/<\/p>\n<p>But the positives don\u2019t stop there. Hexo then 3D prints the helmet using a hexagonal honeycomb cell inner shell. The structure is supposed to be 68% better at controlling impact forces than the conventional polystyrene foam. It is also supposed to be more aerodynamic.
