The World Naked Bike Ride is an annual, worldwide bike ride that highlights the vulnerability of cyclists everywhere and decries society\u2019s dependence on pollution-based transport, which is also a lot of fun and free for all!<\/p>\n

The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is organized and supported by many different groups in over 17 countries around the world. The only connection between the groups is their determination to be naked on their bikes on WNBR Day, riding in celebration and jubilation delivering a vision of a cleaner, safer, body-wise world to the masses. There are many great reasons to be celebrating, with all the glory of naked two-wheel sanity in a time to join hundreds of naked compatriots in a free, non-sexual, fun bike ride!<\/p>\n
First of all there\u2019s one important point of etiquette, which requires one to ride their bike to the starting location since arriving by car with bikes, as cargo, is a huge faux pas. You should decorate your body and your bike to attract more eyes on you! Body painting is a great way to show off! Eventually you come to the finish line and what happens then is uncertain, but usually there is a party in a local club, most likely full of people hanging out naked while congratulating each other, telling stories and dancing among portable sound systems.<\/p>\n
If you think you\u2019re going to an orgy, then you\u2019ll be more than disappointed. WNBR uses nudity as a way to draw attention to cycling and the folly of oil dependency. We hope motorists will begin to suspect cyclists have more fun and hence realize they don\u2019t need their cars as much as they thought. Get on your bike because the next ride is already June 7th, 2014!!!<\/p>\n
