He made the key move with just over 2km left, breaking away from the leading group of eight riders despite the fact that it included the likes of Peter Sagan, Alejandro Valverde, and Julian Alaphilippe. Roman Kreuziger was the only one to jump over to join him but he didn\u2019t seem to be particularly confident in the final sprint.
