We want to constantly munch on something. It\u2019s not gluttony or bad upbringing, it\u2019s our nature. This constant need to look for food and eat as much as we can <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">was<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> what helped us survive in the ancient past. Nowadays, it\u2019s what makes us fat. I propose a solution. If you surround yourself with foods that are naturally filling and satiating, you might just eliminate that constant need for snacking.<\/span><\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Dark chocolate<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">There is a big difference between dark and milk chocolate. Regular milk chocolates contain a huge amount of sugar which makes them devoid of nutrients and, more importantly, very addictive. With dark chocolates with at least 70% cocoa mass, you\u2019re getting mostly healthy fats from the cocoa bean, a lot of fibre, vitamins, and minerals, and most importantly, there\u2019s not much room for sugar left. It might take some time for your taste buds to adjust but it\u2019s worth it. You will be surprised how satiating and satisfying dark chocolate can be. It\u2019s the perfect cure for a sweet tooth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BTBPWKtFmZS\/<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"en-GB\">Canned fish<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en-GB\">Canned fish<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> like tuna or sardines<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> are healthy sources of fat and protein, which makes them super satiating. Plus<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> they contain those healthy omega-3s and plenty of fat-soluble vitamins and calcium. The most important thing is they have a long shelf life <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">so<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> you can stock up at work or in your pantry, so you always have them <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">within<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> your arm\u2019s reach when you get peckish. You can\u2019t go wrong with them as a snack they are satiating and tasty too. They also won\u2019t spoil <\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\">so<\/span><span lang=\"en-GB\"> easily, you can store them for months. And if you\u2019re looking to make your sandwich a lot more filling, try nut butters, they are a game changer.
