An Australian cyclist named Tony was expecting just another sun-drenched ride in the land down under when his plans were slightly altered. He was riding west of Canberra on Brindabella Road when a rather large and muscular joey jumped in to say \u201cg\u2019day, mate\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLast Sunday, I was riding down a steep hill at 70 kph when a large kangaroo jumped out of the surrounding bush, I just had enough time to swerve a bit and the kangaroo hit my left arm and the rear of my bike, somehow I managed to stay upright even though I had damage to the rear wheel and tire. \u201c<\/p>\n

The altercation was captured on Tony\u2019s rear-facing Cycliq camera and if we are not mistaken the kangaroo produced something that can be taken for a smug grin. The cyclist was a lucky one, though, because roos can grow up to 1.8 meters and weigh up to 90 kilograms and their boxing skills are on point.
