The Belgian is positive that he can beat the world champ on Sunday, just like he did at Ghent-Wevelgem. The Slovak has bested Van Avermaet only at the Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, while his nemesis has beaten him three times this year.<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-controller-wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I know it&#39;s hard to win these races, so really proud with the 2nd one on home soil! I say it every year. I know the roads so well, I train every day on the parcours, and this year I feel like it\u2019s my turn,\u201d Van Avermaet said.<\/p>\n<p>Quite naturally, he is backed by his team with the BMC\u2019s sports director Fabio Baldato expressing belief that the Belgian is a true champion, who will not fold under the immense pressure on Sunday. Van Avermaet is already planning to go all out in the race.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BSHJ-0oFzQw\/?taken-by=gregvanavermaet<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to race aggressively and I have seven riders completely dedicated to helping me win. There\u2019s nothing more I can do to prepare. I\u2019m ready. My win at Ghent-Wevelgem was incredible and as I said then, I don\u2019t think I can pretend that I\u2019m not the favourite any more for the Tour of Flanders. I\u2019ve had the best start to the season possible and what gives me even more confidence is knowing that my favourite race, the race that suits me the most, is still to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Is he going to win?
